Terms and Conditions
By registering to attend Tourism Tasmania’s 2018 Asia Mission events, guests agree to the following terms and conditions:
General
- Tourism Tasmania’s 2018 Asia Mission will be held from the 17-21stSeptember 2018 in the cities of Shanghai, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
- Tourism Tasmania makes no representations or warranties as to the quality/suitability of any of the goods or services offered by Tasmanian tourism industry participants in the Event.
- Tourism Tasmania is a body corporate established pursuant to section 4 of the Tourism Tasmania Act 1996.
- Tourism Tasmania reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) to cancel the event and related activities.
- All guests who attend the 2018 Asia Missionare expected to complete the post event survey distributed on behalf of Tourism Tasmania.
- Invitations to attend Tourism Tasmania’s 2018 Asia Mission are open to travel trade partners based in the markets of China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.
Use of Personal Information and Images/Footage
- Tourism Tasmania will collect information (including personal information) from all guests registering to attend the 2018 Asia Mission, and use it for the purposes of the Mission events and related activities. Guests consent to Tourism Tasmania disclosing information, including personal information, to third parties for the purposes of the 2018 Asia Mission event and related activities.
- Tourism Tasmania will take photographs and footage during the 2018 Asia Mission event. Guests consent to Tourism Tasmania using images and footage taken during the event for the purposes of promoting and reporting on the 2018 Asia Mission Event, and promoting similar future events.
Limitation of Liability
- To the extent permitted by law, Tourism Tasmania will not be liable to Guests for any indirect or consequential loss, or loss of income, profits, revenue or business, loss of or damage to goodwill, loss of business reputation, loss of data, loss of access to markets, loss of production, loss or denial of business opportunity, loss of anticipated savings, business interruption, or damage to credit rating, arising from the Applicant’s participation in the Event, or in connection with any goods and services connected with the Event, or due to the cancellation of the Event.
- To the extent permitted by law, Tourism Tasmania will not be liable for any personal injury suffered or sustained by Guests as a result of attending the conference or related activities.
